Mike Noble’s work goes back to the 40’s when he worked in advertising, he did a spell of national service, before retuning to his first love art. He trained to do magazine drawing and worked on woman's magazines like Woman's Own and Woman.
The first comic he worked on was Robin a junior version of Eagle. He shortly after bacame freelance and was asked to work for TV Comic, it was here he was spotted by Alan Fennell and asked to work on TV21, drawing Fireball XL5 and Captain Scarlet amongst others.
When TV21 eventually ended Mike moved to Independent Television Publications to work on Look-in.
As one of the main artists his list of work is long, starting with Timeslip, and going through Follyfoot, Space: 1999 and Worzel Gummidge to name a few.
Mike retired in the late 80's but was lured back to draw covers for the new Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet comics in the early 90's.
